Finished Size: 63" x 81"
Materials
Two Feature Fabrics
One for the front and one for the back |
2 1/2 yards of each feature fabric |
| Strips of coordinating fabric for each feature fabric |
approx. 2 1/2 yards of strip fabric for each side |
| Sashing |
2 yards |
| Binding |
2/3 yards |
| Batting |
approx. 2 yards of 90" batting - Warm and Natural is best because
it doesn't stretch or requier the amount of quilting that other battings
need. |
Cutting
| Batting |
Cut into 9" squares (64) |
| Feature Fabric - FRONT |
Cut front feature fabric into 9 1/2 squares (32)
Cut those squares diagionally into triangles (64)
|
| Feature Fabric - BACK |
Cut front feature fabric into 9 1/2 squares (32)
Cut those squares diagionally into triangles (64)
|
| Strips |
Cut into various widths from 1" to 2 or 2 1/4". I found
the 2" or 1 3/4" worked best as my first strip. |
